Kilometre Gives Back Kilometres
Every year, Kilometre sponsors two young fellows of Zellidja Foundation with the support of Mon Plus Beau Voyage. What is the link between the embroidered textiles of Kilometre and the diary of a passionate yet responsible young explorer? Second skin, new glasses, life tasted. Through its embroidery, Kilometre builds colourful bridges between different parts of the world.

With the help of Zellidja Foundation, which permits young people to travel, Kilometre and its partner Mon Plus Beau Voyage pick two adventurers to set on their dream journey. The competition selection is based on the presented travel project and the decision is taken by an expert jury committee.
Kilometre takes pride in being associated with the work of the Foundation Zellidja which gives a hundred of 16 to 20 year-olds the opportunity to travel alone – for minimum a month – on a project in a country that one is fascinated by.
This solitary trip becomes a journey of self-discovery and solidarity. Whilst roaming through new territories, the young travellers open the spirits of places, find their courage and build their confidence. They make these trips their own by bringing their personal luggage, a background to them. Kilometre will follow their route on its website and share their amazing journeys of self-discovery.
The Zellidja travel award was created in 1939 by Jean Walter, a famous architect, and is now managed by the Zellidja Foundation, under the aegis of the Fondation de France.
Mon Plus Beau Voyage offers highly customized trips for two or more with respect for the environment and the protection of locals. The agency shares a percentage of its profits with Zellidja in order to give back with Kilometre.
